Responsibilities

• Conducts or participates in multidisciplinary research in the design, development, testing and utilization of information processing hardware and/or electrical components, mechanisms, materials, and/or circuitry, processes, packaging, and cabinetry for central processing units (CPUs) and/or peripheral equipment.

• Prepares specifications, evaluates vendors, and analyzes test reports.

• Ensures products conform to standards and specifications.

• Develops plans and cost estimates and assesses projects to analyze risk.

• Develops procedures, analysis and design for computer components, products, and systems.

• Initiates, guides, and coordinates overall design and development of new ideas and products.

• Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur.

• Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 2+ yrs. experience in the field.

• Excellent decision making, time management, and communication skills.

• 2+ year of hardware debug at the component and system level, root cause analysis, corrective action.

• 2+ year of trouble shooting for multiple operating systems (such as Window, Android, Linux) and their associated BIOS, Firmware, and system drivers.

• Experience working with multiple segments including server, client, mobile and handheld, including technical understanding of the architecture and how platform HW/SW/FW work together is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with the Microsoft Windows Debugger, Kernel Debugger tools and/or JTAG debuggers such as ITP or LTB is a plus.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$85,420.00-$136,400.00
