Responsibilities
Conducts or participates in multidisciplinary research in the design, development, testing and utilization of information processing hardware and/or electrical components, mechanisms, materials, and/or circuitry, processes, packaging, and cabinetry for central processing units (CPUs) and/or peripheral equipment.
Prepares specifications, evaluates vendors, and analyzes test reports.
Ensures products conform to standards and specifications.
Develops plans and cost estimates and assesses projects to analyze risk.
Develops procedures, analysis and design for computer components, products, and systems.
Initiates, guides, and coordinates overall design and development of new ideas and products.
Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur.
Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 2+ yrs. experience in the field.
Excellent decision making, time management, and communication skills.
2+ year of hardware debug at the component and system level, root cause analysis, corrective action.
2+ year of trouble shooting for multiple operating systems (such as Window, Android, Linux) and their associated BIOS, Firmware, and system drivers.
Experience working with multiple segments including server, client, mobile and handheld, including technical understanding of the architecture and how platform HW/SW/FW work together is a plus.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Experience with the Microsoft Windows Debugger, Kernel Debugger tools and/or JTAG debuggers such as ITP or LTB is a plus.

$85,420.00-$136,400.00
