Job Description

The One Cloud team in SAS ATT is looking for a versatile support technician responsible for maintaining pre-production systems in SDP Cloud and ensuring users can successfully access them remotely. This is a fast-paced ambiguous environment, requiring a combination of hardware, software and networking skills with a diligent focus on customer orientation.

An ideal candidate would exhibit behavioral traits that indicate:

  • Fast paced Pre-Production lab environment (High tolerance for ambiguity).

  • Independently owns larger, more complex tasks and drives to resolution.

  • Knows when to escalate and ask for help.

  • Recognizes problem areas and creates solution proposals.

  • Willing to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • High sense of customer orientation.

  • Have commitment and great working attitude.

  • Be willing to communicate status clearly with solid written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous work experience, military training and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Technical certification, trade school diploma, or technical military experience with 3 + years of experience
    OR 5+ years of work experience in a semiconductor or technology-related industry.

  • 3+ years of experience with three or more of the following:
    -- Experience building up and maintaining servers and/or client systems
      -- Independently debugs cards, boards, systems.
      -- Configuring BIOS, BMC, Upgrading Firmware, Driver Installs.
      -- Experience in removing/installing /troubleshooting server   baseboards, CPU's, DIMM's, and storage devices.
      -- OS installs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Linux experience

  • Experience with network infrastructure support, cabling, KVMs and PDU's.

  • Experience creating/modifying training and execution plans for these and other tasks.

  • Willing to lift 50 lbs. independently

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$68,000.00-$101,940.00 (Hourly Role)

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
