The Customer and
Platform Validation engineering team is rapidly growing and seeking
individuals with diverse and adaptable skillsets to navigate a
continuously evolving future. As a team member, you will have the

Responsibilities may include but
not limited to:
- Define, develop and implement validation test plans for Xeon CPU and Accelerator designs containing ARM and RISK-V technologies.
- Develop and execute test plans for verifying software and hardware features before release to customers, using tools written in Python and C/C++ programming language.
- Plan and manage execution of automated test suites. Review, track and document test results and failures.
- Diagnose test failures and do failure analysis using system level debug tools such as protocol analyzers, logic analyzers, and diagnostic tools.
- Execute experiments to root cause defects and verify fixes in coordination with development teams.
- Collaborate with teams across site locations and disciplines to ramp domain expertise and share knowledge.
- Systematic troubleshooting to resolve issues that may manifest in either the software or hardware domain.
- Perform data exploration and analysis and present concise reports to management, peers, domain experts or customers.
- Innovate algorithms and test methods to optimize test time and cost.
Qualifications
Minimum
Qualifications:
Candidate should have a
Bachelor in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical
Engineering or related fields and 4 years of experience. They
should also have experience in the
following:
- 2+ years of validation engineering experience
- Experience scripting or programming (python or similar)
- Knowledge of computer architecture, platform hardware and BIOS interaction
Preferred
Qualifications:
(need not have all to
apply)
- Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 2 years of experience
- Experience with Operating Systems such as Windows and Linux.
- Knowledge of System on a Chip (SoC) designs
- Experience using test equipment/tools such as Host Protocol analyzers for PCIe, Ethernet, oscilloscope, voltage/current meters
- Experience with executing tests and debugging failures in a system level post-silicon environment.
- Data extraction/manipulation, analysis, exploration, and visualization using Excel, JMP, SQL, python or similar.
- Ability to apply basic statistical concepts such as mean, standard deviation, normal distribution, and outliers
- Able to troubleshoot hardware, and read board layout diagrams and schematics

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
