About the Group:
As an integral part of Intel's new IDM2.0 strategy, we are establishing Intel Foundry Services, a fully vertical, standalone foundry business, reporting directly to the CEO. IFS will be a world-class foundry business and major provider of US and European-based capacity to serve customers globally. Intel Foundry Services will be differentiated from other Foundry offerings with a combination of leading-edge packaging and process technology, committed capacity in the US , Europe and globally. and a world-class IP portfolio that customers can choose from including x86 cores, graphics, media, display, AI, interconnect, fabric and other critical foundational IP, along with Arm and RISC-V ecosystem IPs.

About the Role:
The IFS Portfolio Lead plays a pivotal role in optimizing IFS long term investment by driving cross-group investment analytics and engaging with senior management in support of portfolio investment optimization discussions. Partners with the IFS Strategy Office to establish a framework and guardrails to apply the foundry life cycle progression across the highly dynamic early business investments. Operationalizing the foundry life cycle framework to access all business opportunities across a broad spectrum of early to late-stage business development. This role will help align all business efforts to ensure we are operationalizing our strategic business objectives and remain aligned in our investment profiles.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Owning and driving the monthly IFS business vetting forum
  • Partner with IFS Strategy Office and Business Development Teams to Deploy framework across all IFS business opportunities
  • Partnering to drive the IFS portfolio cycles
  • Partner with the Engineering, Finance and Business Operations teams


Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field
  • Understanding of the foundry domain (methods, capabilities, etc.)
  • 5+ years program management and/or product planning experience
  • Managing relationships both internal and external (field and customers)
  • Managing day-to-day product direction

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working Knowledge of Silicon Development and Foundry Models
  • Portfolio Management and foundry life cycle management experience
  • Product Strategy and Planning Experience
  • Decisions Quality and Finance Knowledge
  • Early-Stage Business - Start up Experience
  • Blend of technical aptitude and business acumen desired

IFS will also provide access to silicon design services to help our customers seamlessly turn silicon into solutions using industry-standard design packages. Intel dedicates IFS to the success of its customers with entire Profit and Loss responsibilities. This model will ensure that our foundry customers' products will receive our utmost focus in terms of service, technology enablement, and capacity commitments. IFS is already engaged with customers today, starting with our existing foundry offerings. We are expanding imminently to include our most advanced technologies optimized for cutting-edge performance, making them ideal for high-performance applications.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$130,190.00-$221,610.00

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
