Job Description

As part of the Architecture Power and Performance Lab we own and perform Platform, CPU Core/UnCore and associated workload and power characterizations to establish an official database and an one-stop-shop for delivering Architecture PnP-centric analytics to CPU architecture and design teams.

In this role you will Develop and/or optimizes cross/full stack software to enable and analyze mobile, desktop and server platforms. Understand partner and customer software stacks and engages as a trusted technical advisor to discover opportunities to showcase value of Intel technology and platforms aligned with mutual roadmap. You will analyze and benchmark platform, including power, performance, security, responsiveness, development of KPIs/KEIs, and system level measurement methodologies.

You will be the resident expert in studying and analyzing power delivery on mother board, PnP characterization and IP level PnP analysis and benchmarking. This role will interface with architecture and engineering teams across the company to influence Intel platform/technology roadmap.


Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Engineering. Minimum of:

  • 2+ years of working experience in power instrumentation and analysis of semi-conductor hardware.

  • Ability to read Electrical Circuits and hands on working experience with system platforms.

  • Must have an understanding of system architecture and/or micro-architecture for processor, IP, SOC, Servers.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • PnP benchmarking for various segments.

  • Post-Silicon power characterization and Analysis.

  • System and software stack setup for complete PnP Analysis.
