Performs research, design, and development of test equipment software, library, program flow, fixture, hardware, probing, module and/or tester for main and/or peripheral printed boards assembly (PBA).
Responsibilities include:
Technology pathfinding.
Architecture development.
Design material gathering.
Development of test strategy.
Device library.
Determining test parameters.
Specify test to be performed.
Conducting design review.
Designing test/fixture.
Performing fixture acceptance.
Debugging test/fixture.
Resolving design and implementation issues.
Performs testability and fault coverage analysis.
Meeting production quality and reliability requirement.
Updating test/fixture as needed through product life cycle.
Plans and schedules daily tasks, uses judgment on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices.
Inadequacies and erroneous decisions would cause moderate inconvenience and expense.
Sort Test Technology Development (STTD) is a technology development group on the leading edge of next generation microprocessor development for wafer and component test.
With the expansion of
Intel's product portfolio, we are looking for outstanding
candidates to join the test research and development team in
support of module and process development.
This
position is for a SysTest Process Development Engineer in STTD
Module Development Organization.
Candidate will own the
design, development, validation and qualification of the SysTest
Process and delivery of that process into Intel's Assembly and Test
virtual factory
network.
Responsibilities
include:
Development of new process technologies.
Defining customer requirements.
Managing the overall development.
Collaboration with internal and external development partner organizations.
Support of VF transfer and factory ramp.
Driving resolution of all technical problems and ensuring transfer certification goals are achieved.
The
position requires technical leadership, process development,
project management and communication skills as well as extensive
interaction with partner organizations, internal suppliers, Product
Divisions, CQN and Test Factories.
Willingness to take a
product/process through all stages of product development, foster
teamwork and influence decisions with little supervision is
required.
Qualifications
Candidate must exhibit the following behavioral traits/skills:

This
is an entry level position and will be compensated
accordingly.
You must possess the below
minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this
position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum
requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top
candidates.
Experience would
be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes,
and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant
previous job and internship experience.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree (with 1+ years of relevant experience) OR Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Materials Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
Related experience in the
following:
Familiarity with board-level debug, hardware test, measurement equipment, mechanical, thermal and control systems.
Experimental design and statistical concepts.
Background in process or equipment development, equipment design, device testing methods or concepts.
