We are responsible for delivering industry-leading GPU (3D, media, compute, and display) hardware intellectual property (IP) blocks and system-on-a-chip (SoC) products for discrete graphics and throughput computing. We are looking for a Pre-Silicon Power Management Firmware Validation Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities that you will help us with:
- Oversees definition, design, verification, and documentation for SoC (System on a Chip) development. Determines architecture design, logic design, and system simulation.
- Defines module interfaces/formats for simulation. Performs Logic design for integration of cell libraries, functional units and subsystems into SoC full chip designs, Register Transfer Level coding, and simulation for SoCs.
- Contributes to the development of multidimensional designs involving the layout of complex integrated circuits.
- Performs all aspects of the SoC design flow from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, timing and power to create a design database that is ready for manufacturing.
- Analyzes equipment to establish operation infrastructure, conducts experimental tests, and evaluates results. May also review vendor capability to support development.
Qualifications
You
must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially
considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in
addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus
factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would
be obtained through a combination of your school
work/classes/research
and/or relevant previous job. This is an entry level position and
will be compensated accordingly.
Minimum
Qualifications
Must have a
Bachelor's degree in Electrical/ Electronics/Computer
Engineering, Computer Science or related field with 3+
years of experience or a Master's degree in the same
fields.
Your experience must be in
the following areas:
- Programming experience in C/C++ OR Python OR , Perl OR Object-Oriented Programming Techniques
- Computer Architecture and Digital Logic
- Firmware/ Embedded Firmware development or verification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Programming experience in Ruby is a plus
- Reading and interpreting technical specs and Register Transfer Level (RTL) code
- Power Management IP/ SoC Verification OR Power Management Firmware using Verilog/System Verilog/OVM/UVM
- Verification Techniques including Assertions, Functional Coverage, and Randomized Regressions

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
