You will be part of
the Xeon Engineering Group at Intel, driving development of Intel's
latest CPUs for the datacenter. As a first-level manager, set
priorities for the team, get results across boundaries, ensure an
inclusive work environment, develop employees, and manage
performance. You will oversee the definition, design, verification,
and documentation for SoC (System on a Chip)
development.
In this role responsibilities
include, although not limited
to:
- Plans, provides resources for and directs activities in engineering function to meet schedules, standards, and costs
- Cultivates and reinforces appropriate group values, norms and behaviors
- Identifies and analyzes problems, plans, tasks, and solutions
- Provides guidance on employee development, performance, and productivity issues
- Plans and schedules daily tasks, uses judgement on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices
- Manages in a hands-on fashion and technically guides test plan development, verification methodology, tracks deliverables to ensure timely execution with high quality and networks with peers locally and across sites for beating commitments

Qualifications
Minimum
qualifications are required to be initially considered for this
position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum
requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top
candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must have a Bachelor Degree in
Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering, or related field
and have 5+ years of work experience; OR have a Master
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related
field and have 4+ years of working experience; OR have a
Doctorate Degree (PhD) in Electrical Engineering, Computer
Engineering, or related field and have 1+ years of work
experience. Qualifying work experience must be
in/with:
- Pre-silicon verification/logic design with multiple project cycles
- Pre-silicon verification/logic design experience with various tools and methodologies
- System and processor architecture
- Debugging skills
Preferred
Qualifications:
- Experience in pseudo-random content generation, coverage methodology, formal verification, test-bench development, model building, configuration management, SystemVerilog, OVM/UVM methodology, simulation and emulation testing methodology, global verification (reset, determinism, power management, RAS, DFX, performance, etc), PCIe, coherency
