Job Description

This is a highly collaborative role supporting the definition of product architecture.  In this role, you will be responsible to:

  • Develop architectural models (analytical and behavioral) to predict product power and performance, adaptable to a broad range of product use cases

  • Perform product and system level What-If analysis, summarize tradeoffs, and make recommendations aligned to product development goals

  • Define and drive methodologies to measure power and performance across all stages of the product development lifecycle (PLC) to ensure accuracy of prediction and adherence to product requirements

  • Debug and drive product issues within the power and performance domain through to closure

  • Develop collaborative relationships across architecture, design, validation, manufacturing, and Q&R counterparts

  • Champion continuous quality and efficiency improvements with an end-to-end product development mindset


Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar

  • 7+ years of relevant engineering work experience

  • 3+ years of design or validation engineering experience, including functionality specific to the power and performance domain

  • Proficiency in scripting or programming (python, SystemC or C++)

  • Knowledge of PCIe and/or CXL

  • Expertise in architecture-level model development (bus functional model (BFM), power or performance prediction)

Preferred Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Microprocessor or SOC architecture

  • Experience in pre-Si development platform (RTL simulation, Virtual Platform(VP), System-Level Emulation (SLE), FPGA (FEP))

  • ARM and/or RISC-V validation and micro-architecture experience

  • Working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Deep Learning Solutions

IFS is already engaged with customers today, starting with our existing foundry offerings. We are expanding imminently to include our most advanced technologies optimized for cutting-edge performance, making them ideal for high-performance applications.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
