The Automotive market is evolving rapidly, utilizing more and more computing power inside and outside of the vehicle. As cars become servers on wheels with software defined capabilities, Intel provides the computing platforms and ecosystem that power this secular trend. By joining the Intel team, you will have a front row seat to this trend and take part in realizing the vision for the future of Automotive transportation.

The mission of the Product Manager is to develop product strategies for the Automotive segment, lead their execution across the Intel organization and collaborate with customers and ecosystem partners to introduce the resulting products to the market. In this role, you will be responsible for the definition, commercialization, and cradle-to-grave management of the products in your portfolio.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Set product business objectives, strategy, and long-range forecast and plan.
  • Define product requirements and roadmaps and work closely with Engineering teams to embody them into products.
  • Validate product definitions and roadmaps with external customers and Intel sales teams.
  • Work closely with third party IP and component providers to ensure a complete reference system solution for the Intel products.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies and plans and work closely with Intel sales teams, ecosystem partners, and customers in their realization.
  • Pricing strategy.
  • Product Marketing campaigns and PR strategies.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork, classes, research, and/or relevant previous job and or internship experiences. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science with 9+ years of experience or Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science with 6+ years of experience.
  • Product Management or Product Marketing experience in the area of semiconductors or electronic systems.
  • Familiarity of software and associated functions.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Automotive market.
  • MBA preferred.

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
