We're looking for a Product Manager to build new consumer experiences for Apple Music. You'll oversee the roadmap, development and launch of innovations in how subscribers discover and consume music and content from the music world. You'll need to be a specialist on the competitive landscape, and find areas of opportunity in a mature market. You'll partner with other product managers- in Music and across Apple- as well as design, engineering, marketing, and analytics to drive a set of features that differentiates Apple Music in a uniquely Apple way!

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product development, ideally in a content subscription service
  • Track record of identifying big opportunities and working with design, engineering and marketing to launch differentiated products
  • Strong consumer product instincts- you intuitively understand why product ideas will succeed
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to communicate with a wide range of team members and job functions, including executives, and to lead through influence across teams
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data from a variety of sources, identify key insights, spot optimization opportunities, and inform product decisions, with a bias to action and experimentation
  • Proven ability to deliver while balancing many priorities
  • Experience with global teams and international product expansion a plus
  • Experience with music industry and content preferred


Working with a cross-functional team, develop a product roadmap and align stakeholders across the Music org and in other parts of the Services organization.
Using market data and an understanding of the music industry and music culture, identify opportunities to differentiate Apple Music and grow our subscriber base.
Work closely with design and engineering to bring new features to subscribers.
Write clear and concise product requirements that capture the vision, goals, and key elements of new products and features.
Initiate, coordinate, and review launch activities and deliverables for new features in conjunction with business, public relations, AppleCare, marketing communications, and many others.

Education & Experience

MBA, Computer Science or equivalent background preferred
