This is an entry level position for a Product Development Engineer (PDE) doing test capabilities development in the Internet of Things Group (IOTG). In this role, you will be expected to be a part of and participate in global PDE teams in developing and deploying test solutions to enable successful IOTG product development on leading process technologies. This role requires a combination of hardware and software responsibilities that has visibility and interaction with multiple areas within IOTG.
In this role responsibilities include, although not limited to:
Ensure the testability and manufacturability of integrated circuits, from the component feasibility stage through production ramp
Make contributions to the validation of Design For Test (DFT) circuits
Evaluate and debug of new test methods
Modify and debug software programs to convert design validation vectors, for implementation onto test equipment
Verify both validation and production test hardware solutions
Analyze and evaluate component specification versus performance, to ensure optimal match of component requirements with production equipment capability, with specific emphasis on yield analysis and bin split capability
Plan and schedule own daily tasks, develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment
Solve problems with sound logical thinking and logical analysis

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research. This is an entry level position and it will be compensated accordingly.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must possess Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
6+ months of experience in:
Programming language skills with C, C++, PERL, or Python
Preferred Qualifications:
6+ months of experience with:
Digital/Analog electronic circuits
Semiconductor device fabrication as it pertains to diodes and transistors
Electrical measurement techniques and tools used in the analog circuit debug and lab bench work e.g., Oscilloscopes
Firmware or BIOS
Statistical analysis and characterization of semiconductor products

$63,220.00-$94,700.00
