The team includes professionals with backgrounds in public relations strategy, journalism, buzz marketing, theater and event production.

We're seeking a Production and Front of House (FOH) Manager with experience handling and protecting the assets of theatrical and/or live event venues, including Front-of-House, security, and technical systems.

In this role, you will join the technical and production teams supporting the Steven Jobs Theater. You will partner with Apple facilities and Apple Park teams to support the production aspects of events held at the theater from planning, pre-production, rehearsals, tech-run throughs, and execution related to our space and systems. You'll assume responsibility for the annual budget planning process and the flow of the Master Calendar, in collaboration with the producing and technical teams. Key Qualifications

  • 7+ years agency or in-house experience as an operations professional in a theatrical production environment.
  • Passion and creative sensibilities for how audiences experience live and virtual events.
  • 5+ years professional experience working with multiple partners to ensure maintained integrity of a theatrical environment and venue.
  • Validated skills creating an annual operations budget, establishing workflow schedules, and operations management expertise.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to communicate with global partners while navigating within a corporate structure.
  • Ability to liaison between the project teams and senior management, while learning and reacting quickly to new information.
  • Extensive experience ensuring compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and codes of safety.
  • Comfort with tight-schedules, ambiguity in rapidly-evolving production environment.
  • Thrive in a collaborative and results-oriented environment centered within values of partnership, innovation, and diversity and inclusion.

Description

Run the day to day operations of the SJT, ensuring the space is prepared for incoming and prospective productions, broadcasts and live events.

Create and maintain standard operating procedures for all different moments at SJT (Events, projects, pre and post production, day-to-day)

Handle the operational budget and annual master calendar

Collaborate with all subject matter authorities in the events unit and facilities team in all maintenance projects

Align internal cross functional partners for event support (facilities, EHS, security)

Drive coordination between SJT and external partners for event or project support (Fire Department, City Planning)

Cultivate relationships with key internal and external partners.

Drive space allocation plans for required event support

Collaborate around building and technology upgrades and retrofits alongside subject matter leads

Provide oversight and collaboration on aesthetic and functional projects at SJT

Lead tours, experiences and workshops meant to produce new creative partners, as well as cultivates a team of dossiers for SJT.

Work with internal partners during planning stages of productions to drive efficiencies and impact.

Advise in the overall operational systems and processes for off site SJT productions as needed

Work with event leads to ensure audience experience surpasses expectations as it relates to oversight of ushers, security, and all front-of-house personnel.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree preferred.
