In RE&D, we don't sit back and let things happen, we make things happen, and we do this in service to all Apple employees and customers. Our team is a diverse and flexible group that manages Apple's workplaces and workplace services. We develop and run Apple's global real estate portfolio, lead all related capital construction projects, provide outstanding facilities and site services, develop and lead sustainability initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of all Apple facilities, including commute and renewable energy programs, and do everything we can to ensure the health and safety of all Apple personnel, facilities, and customers in our facilities around the world.

The AMR Facilities Program Management & Operations team is seeking an experienced, collaborative, and highly motivated Program Manager to lead strategic initiatives focused on organizational structure, technology implementation and standardization of process for offices across the US, Canada and Latin America.

*Job location can be Culver City, CA, San Diego, CA or Austin, TX.

Key Qualifications

  • Top tier professional with 5-7 years of project management experience including scoping, timeline management, budgeting, process flows, requirements (BRD), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), change management, process documentation etc.
  • Significant knowledge of construction or facilities
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
  • Proven ability to drive projects to successful completion whether working solo or with large cross-functional teams
  • Ability to track and measure KPIs to report and influence organizational efficiency
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Unsurpassed customer focus, with a "Can-Do" attitude.
  • Consultative skills - extracting the right information, from the right people.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new technology, and complex workflows
  • Self-starter with ability to balance priorities and work in a lean environment
  • Ability to simplify the complex and build consensus
  • Solid balance of critical thinking and ability to get things done
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including creation of Keynote decks, to communicate across senior executives and cross functional team members
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments of competing priorities and work them through to an effective resolution
  • Some travel may be required, both domestic and international

Description

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter who is a technically savvy program manager and is able to provide excellent customer service, with an eye for identifying potential problem areas before they arise. The position requires a professional with proven experience and success in managing the full life cycle of projects from development of goals and timelines through to completion of actions, implementation of change management plans and documentation of lessons learned. Understanding and analyzing the business problems at the root and not just solving for the symptom is crucial to the success of this role.

The candidate must feel comfortable with, and remain calm in the face of uncertainty, rapid change, and aggressive deadlines common to rapidly growing companies with evolving business models.

Education & Experience

BA/BS or equivalent degree in Business Management, Operations, Logistics, Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial/Building Construction Management or related field

Business level proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese would be a plus.
