Raytheon Missiles & Defense has an excellent opportunity within the Global Supply Chain Management Proposal Team for a Proposal Analyst. This position will support all Supply Chain related proposal activity for Raytheon Missile & Defense. This great growth opportunity will provides an ambitious individual with the forum to interface and partner with Supply Chain and Estimating Leadership during pursuits of new and follow-on business.
In this dynamic and fast paced environment, you will be supporting Supply Chain Mission Area Proposal Leads with collection of metrics, follow up on aging action items, tracking and reporting cycle time and compliance to proposals, preparing request for proposals (RFPs) to be sent to suppliers, reviewing suppliers cost and pricing data for compliance, performing price analysis, and pulling reports in PRISM to prep for Supplier Engagement.
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.
The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Research, analyze, and action data for historical pricing
2. Tracking and reporting metrics to Global Supply Chain Leadership team and peers
3. Support quotation and proposal efforts within the Supply Base including price/cost analysis
4. Complete post proposal actions
Required Skills:
Minimum of 8 years related work experience
Experience working in the DoD Aerospace & Defense industry
Experience with filtering through, and analyzing large amounts of data
Experience with FAR
Experience with general Supply Chain processes
Experience with strong documentation and timeline management
This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Desired Skills:
Master's Degree (MA, MS, MBA) or equivalent
Experience with FAR, Part 15 requirements
Active Secret DoD security clearance
Experience in functional estimating, program business and/or functional business roles is highly desired
Experience working as Subcontract Manager, Financial Analyst, or Estimating Analyst
Experience at the intermediate level of experience in Microsoft Office especially Excel
Required Education (including Major):
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field
