Raytheon Missiles & Defense has an excellent opportunity within the Global Supply Chain Management Proposal Team for a Proposal Specialist. This growth opportunity will provide an ambitious individual with the forum to interface and partner with Supply Chain and Estimating Leadership during pursuits of new and follow-on business.

U.S. Citizenship status is required, as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.
The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Issue RFPs and analyze supplier proposals inclusive of follow-up
Author basis of estimates (BOEs)
Develop Price analysis (PAs)
Complete post proposal actions

Required Skills:

Minimum of 6 years related work experience
Experience working in the DoD Aerospace & Defense industry
Experience with general Supply Chain processes
Experience with strong documentation and timeline management
This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Desired Skills:

Master's Degree (MA, MS, MBA) or equivalent
Experience at the intermediate level of experience in Microsoft Office especially Excel
Experience with FAR, Part 15 requirements
Active Secret DoD security clearance
Experience in functional estimating, program business and/or functional business roles is highly desired
Experience working as Subcontract Manager, Financial Analyst, or Estimating Analyst

Required Education (including Major):

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field
