Come and join us. Intel is seeking highly qualified candidates to join our Network Edge Group, NEX, as a Quality and Reliability Engineer. Barefoot Networks, BXD, is part of the Connectivity Group, CG, in Intel's DPG, and we're looking for motivated, passionate, and talented engineers to join our Quality and Reliability team. BXD is a strong, vibrant cross-site team which helps drive Intel's Ethernet technology and products to position Intel x86 as the server platform of choice and Intel Ethernet products as Ethernet of choice for the Cloud, Communications and Data Center deployments.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Own RMA analysis process, from customer inquiry to 8D report to customer.
- Define OSAT manufacturing and quality flow in wafer sort, final test and backend processes. Develop mechanical and inspection criteria.
- Work with NPI teams, Si Design, Product Development, Test Engineering, QRE, fab and OSAT, to ensure a solid product manufacturing handoff to FOM.
- Own PCN process.
- Own and report monthly quality indicators e.g. DPPM.
- Drive corrective actions for product and process improvements.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Education Requirement:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Science, and 4+ years of industry work experience.
 

Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in IC product development and product qualification .
- 2+ years of experience in semiconductor test.

Preferred qualifications:
- 5+ years direct experience doing quality engineering jobs in semiconductor.
- 2+ years of experience in IC product development and product qualification.
- 2+ years of experience in semiconductor test.
