In this role, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Design and develops electronic or electromechanical equipment or systems-oriented products and prepares related installation, operation, and maintenance specifications and instructions.
• Analyze equipment to establish operating data and conducts experimental tests.
• Analyze engineering proposals and related technical data to determine feasibility of assigning new equipment or modifying existing equipment.
• Responsible for prototype construction and checkout, complies operational data and prepares customer application information.
• Respond to customer/client requests or events as they occur.
• Develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a positive factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed may be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Minimum Requirements:

The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.

Minimum Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in:

• Working in server rack integration and designing rack layouts.
• Designing rack network cabling and power distribution.
• Writing server rack assembly/integration instructions.

Preferred qualifications:

• Working with third party rack integration service providers.
• Tracking and driving improvement in quality of compute products.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
