The RAS Technology Integration Engineer will do the following:
Conducts or participates in multidisciplinary research in the design, development, testing and utilization of information processing hardware and/or electrical components, mechanisms, materials, and/or circuitry, processes, packaging, and cabinetry for central processing units (CPUs) and/or peripheral equipment.
Prepares specifications, evaluates vendors, and analyzes test reports. Ensures products conform to standards and specifications.
Develops plans and cost estimates and assesses projects to analyze risk. Develops procedures, analysis and design for computer components, products, and systems. Initiates, guides, and coordinates overall design and development of new ideas and products.
Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus 10+ years of relevant industry work experience,
- 6 plus years of experience with microprocessor architecture concepts, data-center server hardware platform design, and software/hardware interactions.
- Experience in industry standard Xeon server interfaces CPU, PCI Express, DDR, I2C/I3C, USB etc.
- Experience in RAS functions (Reliability and system error flows) in one of the major domains - System, UPI, DDR, PCIe, X64 CPU etc.
- Experience with BMC based server platform out of band error management including IPMI and Redfish
- Experience Microsoft, Linux and virtualized (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, QEMU, etc.) Operating Systems

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
