Job Description

As an integral part of Intel, we are establishing Intel Foundry Services (IFS), a fully vertical, standalone foundry business. IFS will be a world-class foundry business and major provider of US and European-based capacity to serve customers globally. Intel Foundry Services will be differentiated from other Foundry offerings with a combination of leading-edge packaging and process technology, committed capacity in the US and Europe - available for customers globally - and a world-class IP portfolio that customers can chose from including x86 cores, graphics, media, display, AI, interconnect, fabric and other critical foundational IP, along with ARM and RISC-V ecosystem IPs.

IFS will also provide access to silicon design services to help our customers seamlessly turn silicon into solutions, using industry standard design packages. This business unit is completely dedicated to the success of its customers with full P and L responsibilities. This model will ensure that our foundry customers' products will receive our utmost focus in terms of service, technology enablement and capacity commitments. IFS is already engaged with customers today starting with our existing foundry offerings and we are expanding imminently to include our most advanced technologies, which are optimized for cutting-edge performance, making them ideal for high-performance applications.

If you have a strong technical background and like customer interaction, this is the position for you. Intel Foundry Services is looking for candidates with strong technical skills in Reliability Verification for IP/ASIC designs, to work with our customers. You will drive IFS technologies and solutions into customer's engineering teams as well as be the customer advocate back into the Intel Technology and Design Kit teams. The responsibilities for this position include:

  • Technical management of customer accounts - participating in customer project life cycle, preparing and delivering technical training/presentations and supporting pre-sales activities

  • Provide support on PDK issues related to Electromigration/IRdrop, Selfheat, ESD and Design verification, tight collaboration with internal development teams and CAD vendors on issue resolution

  • Create and review content and drive quality of design kits/documentation going to customers.

  • Knock down all barriers to successful customer tape-ins


Qualifications

This position will make use of your technical background and expertise as well as your excellent interpersonal skill as you dive into the technical and program details of the ICF products and solutions. The qualification for this position includes the following:

  • BSEE/MSEE and at least 5 years of experience in design/design automation related field.

  • In depth knowledge in silicon reliability issues such as Electro Migration, Self-heat, ESD, Latch-up, Aging, etc.

  • Must have experience with industry CAD tools in reliability and physical design Apache Redhawk/Totem/Pathfinder, Calibre/ICV PERC, Cadence Voltus/VoltusFi, etc.

  • Expertise in one or more of the following areas - SOC design methodology, Reliability flows and methodology, IP development, ASIC Design, Foundry Design Enablement/Automation.

  • Independent, Self-motivated, excellent communication skills and ability to excel in team environment.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Tcl, Perl, Python is a plus.

  • The ability to drive to closure a wide variety of technical/program issues
