Works as an individual contributor to design, develop, execute and implement scientific research projects to fuel Intel's growth in the areas of computing, communication, technology and manufacturing and new business opportunities. Develops machine learning algorithms, such as supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, Bayesian analysis, as well as neuromorphic and brain inspired methods to solve applied problems in various disciplines such as Cognitive Computing, Computer Vision, Audio, Natural Language Processing, Robotics, etc. Investigates the feasibility of applying scientific principles and concepts to potential inventions and products typically 5+ years prior to landing on a product roadmap. Plans and executes laboratory research. Maintains substantial knowledge of state-of-theart principles and theories and contributes to scientific literature and conferences. May participate in development of intellectual property. May coordinate interdepartmental activities and research efforts with universities. Typically holds a PhD.

Qualifications
You
must possess the below minimum qualifications to be considered for
this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the
minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in
identifying top candidates. Experiences listed may be obtained
through academic coursework or projects, prior internships, or
comparable industry roles.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Ph.D. program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any related field
2+ years experience in Deep Learning and classic Computer Vision with experience on state-of-the-art methods on real projects
2+ years experience with novel paradigms beyond supervised learning, such as weakly supervised multimodal learning, Human in the loop approach, Learning by demonstration, and unsupervised methods
2+ years experience with Python and/or C++ languages, ROS and Linux OS
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ year of experience in activity and action recognition research domain
1+ year of experience with GPU programming: OpenCL, OpenCV, DirectX, OpenGL
1+ year of experience in Deep Learning based techniques at the intersection of Computer Vision and Dialog Systems
1+ year of experience with multispectral fusion (i.e. RGB and depth data)
1+ years experience with Intel OpenVino and RealSense technologies
1+ years experience with Matlab or similar numeric computing languages

Range for jobs which could be performed in US,
Colorado:
$149,020.00-$223,560.00
