Come be a part of the team that enriches the experience for Apple Retail customers through programs offered Online and in the Apple Retail Stores. This role serves as the key finance partner for Retail's most strategic sales programs - from Apple Trade In to the iPhone Upgrade Program to Apple Card Monthly Installments. Apple Retail Finance is looking for an ambitious, motivated, and curious individual with strong analytical and interpersonal skills, ready to take on new challenges.

Key Qualifications

  • A hands-on financial leader with experience in a fast-paced, global and matrix environment, who will serve as a knowledgeable and trusted partner for the Retail Digital & Technology Capital leadership teams
  • Proven ability to partner and influence cross-functionally to identify, evaluate and execute strategic priorities and operational opportunities
  • Strong leadership skills with the presence to effectively set and communicate vision and direction across evolving, ambiguous and diverse cross-functional teams and environments
  • Shown ability to advise and challenge others while building and maintaining positive working relationships across organization levels and functional boundaries
  • Experience crafting cross functional solutions that incorporate multiple and competing points of view and embrace meticulous attention to detail
  • Agile and responsive to dynamic business environments, with an ability to think and partner cross-functionally to solve complex problems
  • Develop and promote financial acumen and accountability across the organization
  • Commitment to lead, motivate and develop a dynamic team of high performing finance professionals that are responsible for financial and business analyses that support key areas of investment
  • Critical and analytical thinker with creative problem-solving skills; an intellectual curiosity to identify continuous improvement opportunities
  • Highly articulate in both oral and written communication
  • 10+ years of relevant financial and business leadership experience

Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive finance leader who can think strategically yet stay connected to the ground level operations of the business. The ideal candidate possesses a high level of integrity, creativity, initiative, accountability, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to teamwork and excellence.

Based in Cupertino, you will lead and develop Apple Retail's Sales Programs Finance team. You will not only support Retail's most strategic sales programs but also be a part of the new thinking and go-to-market strategy in the areas of Products/Services, Small Medium Business, and customer Financing/Payments. You and your team will provide day-to-day finance operations support while serving as key players in the long-term strategy.

Primary responsibilities will include:

Full finance end-to-end ownership of existing and new sales programs from ideation to business case creation to systems requirements to performance reporting and analysis

Collaborating with Retail's regional/global leadership teams and worldwide Apple stakeholders to drive short- and long-term strategies

Providing finance thought leadership in business strategy, analysis, tools development, and execution

Managing sales programs-related monthly/quarterly close, forecast, and annual plan activities

Leading, mentoring, and coaching team members

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business

MBA a plus
