About the Organization:
You will be joining Radio Circuits and Architecture (RCT) team within Wireless System Research Lab in Intel Labs. RCT research activity focus on enabling integration of next generation radio transceivers in deeply scaled CMOS technologies like Intel 22nm FinFET. We drive innovation in architecture, radio building-blocks and design methodologies to achieve beyond state-of-the-art performance and maintain Moore's law scaling for both digital and RF/analog circuitry. The focus of this specific position is to explore, design and validate innovative circuits and radio architectures for next generation mmWave and subTHz wireless communication systems.
About the role:
In this position your responsibilities include: Development of high-level behavioral models to validate proposed system architectures, mmWave and subTHz circuit design using industry standard tools EM modeling and simulation of fully integrated passive and active structures at 100GHz+Post-silicon validation with hands-on testing of RFIC in the lab using state-of-the-art equipment.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate research ability, with proven record of innovation through working RFICs taped-out in scaled CMOS technology.
Qualifications
You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/ or work experience.
Minimum
Qualifications:
The
candidate must possess a Master's degree or PhD degree in
Electrical Engineering.
3+
years' experience in below
areas:
Silicon prototyping flow: design, validation, layout, tape-out and testing.Architecture, design, implementation, and verification of RF/mixed-signal systems that include circuits blocks such has LNAs, mixers, PA, PLL, VCOs, ADCs, DACs.
RFICs taped-out in scaled CMOS technology
Preferred Qualifications:
Signal processing theory
EM modeling tools like HFSS and Momentum
RF/analog/mixed-signal testing in the lab

$132,940.00-$199,800.00
