This role will be responsible for performing the following tasks:

  • Posting of vendor invoices and credit memos accurately in SAP system with the appropriate supporting documentation.
  • Reviewing and approving employee travel reimbursements to ensure compliance to NS2 travel policies.
  • Creating vendors and fixed assets after gaining appropriate approvals and supporting documentation.
  • Managing internal and vendor relationships to ensure that payments are made timely and accurately with appropriate approvals.
  • Performing month-end closing activities, including posting accruals, uploads, intercompany reconciliation, and miscellaneous journal entries.
  • Miscellaneous account reconciliations and reporting to management related to accounts payables and tax.
  • Collaboration and back-up within team and across internal and external SAP teams such as Procurement, Tax, Billing, Treasury, IT, HR, Facilities, Marketing, Compliance/Audit, SAP Shared Service Center, Corporate Finance, NS2 acquisitions, etc.
  • Working with the systems team to look for process efficiencies and systems improvements, including testing and rollout of NS2 Financial systems enhancements to internal users and vendors as necessary.
  • Ensuring process documentation and work instructions are complete and up-to-date.

Experience & Language Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years working within a finance related field.
  • Understanding of IFRS and local accounting standards.
  • Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements as related to the procure-to-pay function.
  • A minimum of 2 years working with SAP Financial software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • English speaking

Education

Successfully completed Secondary Education 

Professional Training & Certification

Professional on-the-job training of at least one F&A process
