The Security Firmware Architect will develop platform firmware, reference code and related documentation for Intel silicon products such as next generation chipsets and processors. Author firmware specifications, creating silicon and chipset reference code and developing / supporting system firmware for Intel CPUs and chipsets. Work closely with Intel silicon design teams and be responsible for all software and firmware related issues during the planning, development, and validation stages of the program.

In this role, responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Design, develop, test, debug and optimize firmware solutions for Intel products
• Align with customers and partners on security requirements and features
• Collaborate with Intel silicon design, software, and business teams to transform new firmware security features from idea to reality
• Participate in in-depth security reviews of firmware and silicon design
• Facilitate security firmware requirements for Intel products by driving compliance with industry standards such as TCG, DMTF etc.
• Contribute to the roadmap/vision of security firmware technologies

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Education Requirement

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering or related discipline OR Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering or related discipline OR PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering or related discipline.

Minimum Qualifications

9+ years of experience in 1 or more of the following:

• Secure Boot and resilience technologies
• Silicon and platform architecture
• Hands on experience with standards such as UEFI, ACPI, PCIe, TCG, DMTF etc.
• Technical leader in driving the firmware technologies

Preferred Qualifications

Hands on experience with Intel TXT and Boot Guard Technology.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$132,940.00-$199,800.00
