As a Security Researcher the primary role is to investigate existing types of vulnerabilities and malicious programs, analyze their capabilities and process they use to exploit systems.
Willing to identify, track, and study specific malware or threat iterations to better understand their strategies and anticipate future threats.
Review & Code Reviews to identify potential vulnerabilities.
Expertise in penetration testing for the product; preferred SAAS applications.
Additionally you will help drive the Security First Mindset within our organization and share key updates from industry events and security trends with the team.
Qualifications
Security researchers with at least a Bachelor's degree (or Master's) in a computer science field, and extensive experience involving IT security and threat protection.
Have hands-on experience with detection tools and programs. These roles require advanced analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
Perform analysis and/or reverse engineering of suspect source code.
Do a thorough design and code review.
Make security architecture recommendations that will improve security programs/posture.
Run penetration testing on the product (preferred in the SAAS applications)
Work with other security teams with Intel as part of a team to develop requirements, produce/test code, and provide necessary documentation.
Conduct research to improve automation, accuracy, and efficiency of detection techniques and related systems.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to developers and researchers.
Conduct research, monitoring and analysis of current and emerging threats directed at network infrastructure targets from internal and external sources.
Participate in project teams to produce proposals for new work including joint projects with other teams
Intel Security Architecture and Engineering (SAE) is chartered with developing a comprehensive understanding of current and future security threats, guiding research, and developing solutions and mitigations. SAE develops security architecture and implementation across Intel products.

Range for jobs which could be performed in US,
Colorado:
$132,940.00-$199,800.00

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
