Job Description

DCAI's Strategy and Business Development Office (SBDO) is part of the global Intel DCAI organization that develops the products and technologies that power servers sold worldwide. SBDO is charged with enabling DCAI's growth through transformative organic and inorganic actions and supporting BU strategies by identifying and addressing portfolio and capability gaps. The SBDO team has the mandate to look broader and with a longer time horizon to assess our organization's challenges and opportunities.

In this role, you will be responsible for scoping and defining DCAI's strategic options to create differentiation through the range of security domains for the data center, cloud, and related emerging markets such as Edge, multi-cloud, web3. In this highly visible role, you will be driving cross BU impacts with sales, end customers, Intel Capital, DCAI BU's, and market sensing and technology experts in SBDO to map emerging security market opportunities, identify and drive differentiating security capabilities for DCAI, and execute actions to win in the security marketplace.

  • The position requires a solid combination of security technical expertise, strategic business acumen, ability to work effectively across functional and organizational boundaries and the ability to communicate effectively across customer, technical, business, and executive audiences


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

BS in computer science or computer engineering or related field with 12+ years of experience in the technology industry
7+ years of security architecture and/or security market experience

5+ years of experience across a broad spectrum of software, architecture, operating systems, and security technology

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in data center ecosystem and market dynamics
Knowledge of securing or administering multi-account/subscription public cloud environments
Experience developing security strategy and detailed plans for high potential technologies
Experience working with and establish trust across a diverse array of stakeholders across software, business units, and sales teams
Experience taking ownership and driving security direction and innovations
Familiarity with security systems architecture, ISA (Instruction Set Architecture), accelerators, memory hierarchy, scale-out architectures
Experience presenting to senior level audiences

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
