Seeking a driven and self-motivated individual to join Intel's Network and Edge Group / Network Platforms Group / Enterprise and Cloud Networking Division as Segment Director focused on working with internal / external partners to offer enhanced pubic instance offerings to enable customer's and software partner's network / security usage models for best-in-class edge to multi / hybrid cloud solutions. This would entail understating the hyperscaler IaaS and PaaS environments in order to provide the best offering in order to meet TCO, OpEx, and differentiation requirements. Though this position is focused on L4-7 solutions, it would be beneficial if this person understands the L2-4 capabilities for each offering as it relates to customer's needs. This role will also help define and influence our product solution roadmap including processors, ISAs and software ingredients.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:
You must possess a Bachelor or a Master of Science Degree in Engineering or Computer Science

• 3+ years of networking experience in Enterprise IT or Cloud environment with hardware, software, system level engineering or architecture

• 3+ years driving business and architecture strategy

• 3+ years of experience in customer / ecosystem partner engagement

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Edge, uCPE, SD-WAN, SASE, and other network / security workloads for Enterprise / Cloud customers.

• Experience in the data center, networking, and/or telecommunications industries highly desired

• TCO / OpEx modeling
