growth in video traffic, and the expected wave of innovation in
CDN, Metaverse, Cloud Gaming, Video Analytics and Remote Video
Production, the visual cloud is one of the next major innovation
cycles that will transform how we experience and interpret the
world.
The Edge and Cloud Video Division (ECVD) is
responsible for advancing Intel's leadership in the creation and
delivery of compelling visual experiences from the Edge and the
Cloud, enabling the full Intel product portfolio for visual
workloads. The focus use-cases and workloads include CDN, Video
Production, Video Distribution, Video Analytics, Cloud Gaming,
Immersive Media, and VDI. The team works in a matrixed environment
across Intel to define a competitive XPU roadmap for visual
workloads and drive platform and software innovations to make it
easy for Cloud, Telco and Broadcast customers to deploy exciting
visual experiences on Intel platforms. ECVD is a dynamic
organization that puts the customer first and collaborates across
organizations to deliver results.
About the
Role:
The Segment Marketing Director for CDN and Edge
Video is a senior level position reporting directly to the Global
head of Edge Video Division and accountable for (directly and
indirectly): CDN Strategy and related Strategic Customers, Revenue
Goals and Investments in Software, Solutions, Architecture,
Engineering and Ecosystem Enablement. This position will provide
leadership to define a winning portfolio of XPU, Software and
Solutions to enable deployment of compelling visual experiences,
and champion customer's voice to influence the long-term roadmap
that our customers need to succeed. This organization partners
heavily with internal hardware, software, engineering and
go-to-market teams to deliver products, services and solutions to
our
segments.
Responsibilities
This role requires executive level decision making for product and architecture requirements, portfolio investments, customer engagement strategies, ecosystem scale solutions and future technologies required to win CDN workloads in the Cloud, Telco and Broadcast markets.
Responsible for the strategy to grow the current multi-million dollar business at double digit CAGR
Fearlessly represent the customer perspective and requirements as we make architecture, roadmap and business model decisions, pushing our partners to move at the speed of the business
Elevate the criticality of video workloads to deliver industry leading solutions to the market
The role
is customer facing with regular attendance at customer executive
meetings
Additional responsibilities may include Corporate
Strategic Discussions, Presenting at Industry Events, and
more.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline. MBA or equivalent experience.
Visionary leader with deep understanding of challenges faced by the video industry and where the industry is heading in the next 3-5 years.
Intimate knowledge of video industry and experience working with industry partners and video teams at major Cloud service providers, Telcos, Broadcasters and startups.
10+ years of experience leading strategy for technology business
Experienced leader of people, able to inspire and build followship. History of developing others, recruiting top talent, and getting them to collaborate as a high-functioning team.
Strong communication and influencing skills including experience working in matrixed environment and presenting to executives, customers and technical audiences.
Strategic thinker with a proven track record of industry thought leadership and demonstrated business results.
Creative thinker, influential collaborator, and diligent advocate
Extraordinary teamwork and collaboration with a strong customer-first mindset.
Understanding of Intel's Data Center customers and
underlying technologies, ecosystem of vendors, product portfolio
and general data center market
trends.

eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split
