As a Semiconductor Process Engineer intern, you will be responsible for creating and transitioning from manual process analysis into a database supporting equipment readiness and performance for exponential growth in production facilities and output.

Key Qualifications

  • Hands-on working knowledge of semiconductor processes such as thin film deposition, wet chemistries, or reactive ion etching, and process integration.
  • Curiosity for creating a scaleable usable framework for multiple stakeholders within existing software systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Description

Review, analyze current machine and process buy-off workflows for a large array of machine types, used within compound semiconductor industry

Explore and report out available infrastructure within Apple regarding features and scalability

Create prototype database, demonstrate and receive user feedback

Propose transition plans to upgrade current workflow to a more scalable solution.

Number and type of features implemented with plans for future extensions

Ease of Use, User Satisfaction

Education & Experience

Pursuing a BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science or related fields. You are additionally required to return to school after the internship to continue or complete your education, or an internship needs to be required for graduation from your school. You also qualify if accepted into a graduate program after graduation.
