We are looking for experienced software engineers to join our Client AI team responsible for development of Windows AI software stack (ex. Direct ML) on Intel's client GPUs (integrated and discrete). VCG/Client AI team is part of Accelerated Computing Systems and Graphics group (AXG) at Intel, responsible for delivering foundational AI software capabilities on GPUs for Windows operating system.
This team is also responsible for providing driver and runtime support for other AI usages on Intel GPUs (for instance, Intel XeSS). The team also owns performance benchmarking and analysis of AI/ML applications for hardware/software architecture studies and co-optimizations.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to: - Development of ML Primitives for Intel GPU:
Development of Compute driver features for Intel GPU
Development of foundational AI capabilities for Intel GPUs to support emerging AI usages like Intel XeSS.
Implement key features in the AI software stack and debug issues between hardware, driver, operating system, game titles, and applications.
Performance benchmarking, analysis and optimization of AI applications including competitive analysis. Support forward-looking architecture studies with software/hardware architecture teams.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Candidate must have
a Bachelors, Masters or PhD degree in Computer science or related
areas with at least 5+ years of experience
in:
Expertise in C/C++
Understand the 3D graphics (including DX11/12 and/or Vulkan)
Experience in kernel development ex: Open CL, CUDA, Metal, etc.
Graphics API experience like DX, Metal or Open CL Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Graphics and Deep Learning Accelerator architectures
Expertise in Deep Learning networks and frameworks, ex. WinML, OpenVino, CoreML, Tensorflow and/ or Pytorch - Expertise in kernel development e.g.: Open CL, CUDA, Metal, etc.
Experience with mid-level AI frameworks Direct ML, OneDNN, Metal Performance Shaders
Knowledge of GPU compute architecture - Experienced in Performance benchmarking and workload analysis
Experience in Windows device driver or embedded software development
Expertise in optimization techniques for neural networks
Knowledge of Intel graphics driver

Annual Salary
Range for jobs which could be performed in US,
Colorado:
$187,370.00-$299,710.00

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
