Job Description

As an integral part of Intel, we are establishing Intel Foundry Services (IFS), a fully vertical, standalone foundry business. IFS will be a world-class foundry business and major provider of US and European-based capacity to serve customers globally. Intel Foundry Services will be differentiated from other Foundry offerings with a combination of leading-edge packaging and process technology, committed capacity in the US and Europe - available for customers globally - and a world-class IP portfolio that customers can chose from including x86 cores, graphics, media, display, AI, interconnect, fabric and other critical foundational IP, along with ARM and RISC-V ecosystem IPs.

IFS will also provide access to silicon design services to help our customers seamlessly turn silicon into solutions, using industry standard design packages. This business unit is completely dedicated to the success of its customers with full P and L responsibilities. This model will ensure that our foundry customers' products will receive our utmost focus in terms of service, technology enablement and capacity commitments. IFS is already engaged with customers today starting with our existing foundry offerings and we are expanding imminently to include our most advanced technologies, which are optimized for cutting-edge performance, making them ideal for high-performance applications.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should have experience in Design of high speed Transmitters, receivers and supporting clocking blocks like Serializer/de-serializer, CTLE, DFE DCO, PI and DCC designs

  • The candidate needs to have proven skills in leading project execution through a team of junior engineers.

  • The candidate needs to have working knowledge in associated design domains e.g. layout, .libs and Verilog modelling, to enable delivery of IPs

  • The candidate will need to work with inter-domain disciplines and need to have strong communication skills and problem-solving skills

  • The responsibilities will include circuit design, development, qualification and support of SERDES IPs like PCie , USB, MIPI, eDP, CPHY/DPHY, HDMI and Ethernet IP development on leading edge Intel technologies


Qualifications

Come and join us! Intel is seeking highly qualified candidates to join our Intel Foundry Services as an Analog Engineer and work on one of the Several High Speed PHY/Clocking/ADC/Regulators Blocks with some of the most advanced CMOS processes in the world.!

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Designing circuits for high-speed I/O, Clocking {PLL} or Voltage regulators/LDOs. Take full responsibility of a design from bottom to top.
  • Work closely with mask design engineers to optimize design performance at circuit and full-chip level
  • Propose and implement creative design approaches
  • Document and review the achieved results
  • Work closely and collaborate within a team with expert analog designers and experienced layout designers

You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Education Requirement:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field plus 10 years of industry work experience, or

- Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field plus 8 years of industry work experience, or

- PhD in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field plus 6 years of related work experience.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

- 10 plus years of experience in Design of high speed Transmitters, receivers{ Example: PCie, USB TypeC, HDMi, eDP, Display port, MIPI CPHY/DPHY, Ethernet PHY} and supporting blocks like Serializer/de-serializer, CTLE, DFE DCO, PI and DCC designs or

- 10 plus years of experience in Design in one or more of Analog IP circuit designs e.g. GPIOs, Thermal Sensor, Oscillators (RC, LC, Crystal), PLL, ADC/DAC/ Voltage regulators/LDOs, DDR etc

-  VLSI and industry standard CAD tools for schematic capture, simulation, layout and physical verification, such as Cadence Spectre/Maestro/Finesim/AMS Designer /Virtuoso

- Candidate needs to have working knowledge in associated design domains e.g .libs and Verilog modelling, to enable delivery of IPs.

- Analog layout techniques, including floor-planning, matching, shielding and parasitic optimization

- Willingness to lead a small team and guide them .

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

- Willingness to work independently or in a team environment.

- Experience with scripting languages as perl, tcl or skill is a plus.
