At Intel, we are innovating the future. We create world-changing technology that enables global progress and enriches the lives of every person on earth. Intel is at the heart of the technologies fueling several market disruptions.
E-core, Intel's most efficient CPU circuit technology team is looking for a highly motivated and technically savvy experienced individual to join our team as a Researcher and Senior Circuit Design Engineer. This will be a fast-paced dynamic environment where you will work in high performance, low power CPU design group on a wide spectrum of circuit design activities ranging from design of novel circuit techniques, technical readiness, device and process characterization, critical path simulations and design custom blocks to meet stringent power, performance, and area constraint. You will be responsible for overseeing definition, design, verification, and documentation for E-core and SoC (System on a Chip) development.
The work involves research and development, and design of digital circuits in the leading-edge CMOS technologies, specifically geared towards memory designs (SRAMs/Register Files/etc.). The work will involve simulation, timing and noise analysis, power, and reliability analysis, as well as interaction with architecture, logic, and the physical design teams for optimizing E-core and SoC PPA.
A successful candidate will be required to contribute towards the development of multidimensional designs involving the layout of complex integrated circuits. Perform all aspects of the E-core and SoC design flow from high level design to synthesis, timing, and power to create a design database that is ready for manufacturing. Analyze equipment to establish operation infrastructure, conducts experimental tests, and evaluates results. May also review vendor capability to support development.
