Intel Machine Learning Performance team is looking for software development engineer to work in new exciting area of deep learning. In this role you will be responsible for design, development, and maintenance of oneDNN, a cross-platform open source performance library providing highly vectorized and threaded building blocks for deep learning applications. The scope of work includes development of new features and algorithms optimized for Intel processors, Intel Processor Graphics, and Intel discrete GPUs, performance optimizations for current and future Intel hardware, including assembly level programming and development of hardware specific parallel algorithms.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school-work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

 Minimum Qualifications:

• Masters with 3+ years of experience or PhD with 2+ years of experience in Mathematics or Physics or Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.

4+ years experience in the following areas:

• Experience in Software libraries design and architecture
• Demonstrated experience  Performance engineering and software performance optimizations Mathematics, preferably linear algebra solvers, matrix-vector operations, and Fast Fourier Transforms
• Working knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• Experience working on C and C++
• Software development on Linux
• Low level optimizations for Intel Architecture processors (Assembly level or intrinsics)  OpenCL/ SYCL/DPC++/ C for Metal or CUDA
• Parallel programming (OpenMP/ TBB or MPI)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 years+ High performance computing (HPC) applications development
• 1 year+ Machine learning and deep learning algorithms
• 1 year+ Agile software development environment
• 1 year+ Intel development tools

$171,440.00-$257,260.00
