Group:
As an integral part of Intel's new IDM2.0 strategy,
we are establishing Intel Foundry Services (IFS), a fully vertical,
standalone foundry business, reporting directly to the CEO. IFS
will be a world-class foundry business and a major provider of the
US and European-based capacity to serve customers globally. Intel
Foundry Services will be differentiated from other Foundry
offerings with a combination of leading-edge packaging and process
technology, committed capacity in the US and Europe - available for
customers globally - and a world-class IP portfolio that customers
can choose from including x86 cores, graphics, media, display, AI,
interconnect, fabric and other critical foundational IP, along with
ARM and RISC-V ecosystem IPs. IFS will also provide access to
silicon design services to help our customers seamlessly turn
silicon into solutions, using industry-standard design packages.
About the Role:
The IFS team is looking for a passionate
and driven industrial electronics engineer to participate in the
development of leading-edge industrial electronics boards and
systems. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will work with
other specialists on defining the requirements and solution
architecture of embedded electronics subsystems such as high-speed
data processing and high-speed controllers.
In
addition to working on system-level requirements with engineers in
other disciplines, responsibilities will include the selection of
available off-the-shelf hardware components, development of custom
VME modules for high-speed data processing using FPGAs and custom
PCB design, collaboration with software engineers and system
engineers on testing, validation, and performance tuning of system
prototypes.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum qualifications and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum
Qualifications:
The candidate must possess at least one
of the degrees below, or a related discipline + the years
of experience:
- Bachelors or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electronics, or Computer Engineering
- A minimum of 10 years of work experience in building industrial data processing or control systems
Preferred
Qualifications:
- Experience with development of embedded systems, high-speed electronics and software for data acquisition for industrial applications
- Experience with the entire life cycle of measurement and control system development, from requirements, development, through installation and operation
- Experience with high-speed FPGA design, use of soft IP for implementation of networking protocols, and high-speed memory interfaces
- Experience with PCB development, assembly, testing / certification for industrial requirements
- Experience with high speed (terabit) networking and Interlaken protocol
- Knowledge of VME bus systems and fiber-optics communications
- Experience as a technical lead for large and small groups in a global team environment
- Experience leading external supplier projects

Annual Salary
Range for jobs which could be performed in US,
Colorado:
$113,210.00-$187,350.00
