IFS will be a world-class foundry business and a major provider of the US and European-based capacity to serve customers globally. Intel Foundry Services will be differentiated from other Foundry offerings with a combination of leading-edge packaging and process technology, committed capacity in the US and Europe - available for customers globally - and a world-class IP portfolio that customers can choose from including x86 cores, graphics, media, display, AI, interconnect, fabric and other critical foundational IP, along with ARM and RISC-V ecosystem IPs. IFS will also provide access to silicon design services to help our customers seamlessly turn silicon into solutions, using industry-standard design packages.

In addition to working on system-level requirements with engineers in other disciplines, responsibilities will include the selection of available off-the-shelf hardware components, development of custom VME modules for high-speed data processing using FPGAs and custom PCB design, collaboration with software engineers and system engineers on testing, validation, and performance tuning of system prototypes.

Behavioral traits that we are looking for:

  • Clarity in technical communications
  • Track record of delivering robust digital electronics implementations with capabilities and performance beyond readily available industrial hardware
  • Results oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently, and an aptitude for hands on problem solving
