Intel has a long
history of cutting-edge innovation in its client GPUs and is
growing its influence in discrete graphics products for client and
cloud customers. Examples include expanded PC to support for
Netflix 4K as a key supplier to the broadcast community for HEVC
video encoding, and as an accelerator for the industry's transition
to AV1. We are hiring multiple qualified engineers with experience
in content protection, video broadcast technology development, and
cloud gaming for our GPU software development team. In this
position, you will serve as a technical lead in a worldwide
development team of GPU security and Cloud Video Services for
Intel's graphics drivers and reference software
products.
Responsibilities include:
-
Understanding and contributing to the development of HW+SW
architecture
- Bridging the gap between architecture and
implementation
- Actively writing and debugging driver,
middleware, and application code
- Proactively identifying
and fixing issues during development as well as in shipping
products
- Support Tier 1 customer deployments on tight
schedules
- Working across a wide range of graphics
components (3D, compute, media,
display)
Qualifications
Candidate
will have a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer
Science, or a related field, plus the following experience - OR -
an equivalent combination of education and experience: 3+
years' experience in video technology development, security
technology development, or content protection technology,
applications, algorithms, or systems. 5+ years'
C/C++ development experience. 3+
years' experience developing video software, video
hardware, or video drivers.
The following
skills are desirable:
- Cloud video Application
development experience, including virtualization and
container-based development.
- Experience using
AI's to solve real world problems - such as super
resolution and video quality enhancement.
- Experience
with AI development frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and a mastery
of Python.
- Familiarity with secure development
practices such as static analysis, and secure coding.

Experience with security technologies such as secure boot,
attestation and signing.
- Experience in video codec for
HEVC, VP9, MPEG-2, AV1, AVC, and other new advanced codec
techniques.
- Experience with industry standard cloud
deployment infrastructure (orchestration, containers,
virtualization.
- Experience working in a production
software team, Agile software development and tools (JIRA,
Github).
- The candidate will have strong written and
verbal communication skills in English.
- As a technical
leader, must be able to foster a spirit of collaboration and
inclusion amongst a number of diverse
stakeholders.

Annual Salary
Range for jobs which could be performed in US,
Colorado:
$132,940.00-$199,800.00
