We strive to lead the industry through continuous innovation and world-class engineering. We work closely with partners across Intel and we are looking for a Senior IP Pre-Silicon Verification Engineer to join our team.

In this position, you will be working as part of a Pre-silicon IP Verification Team working on a Cache IP for our current and next generation Graphics Products.

Candidate responsibilities include the following:

• Developing test environment, verification specification documentation and working with cross-functional engineering teams on architecture, design and verification
• Coding/enhancement of functional scoreboards/agents/sequences/monitors & writing testcases
• Define functional coverage and hit it through sequence enhancement and newer/directed test cases
• Working closely with architecture and RTL designers on verifying the functionality correctness of the design
• Developing test plans and test environments; Developing tests in C or SV according to test plans
• Developing coverage monitors and analyze coverage to ensure all the test cases in the plans are covered

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field with 7+ years of relevant industry experience. Or a Master's degree in the same fields  with 5+ years of industry experience.

Your experience must be in the following:

• Verification of design blocks (IP) for system-on-chip (SoC) components
• System Verilog and OVM/ or UVM based verification methodologies
• OOP concepts and coverage based random verification

Preferred skills and experience that will make you stand out:

• Good understanding of Memory Subsystems or Cache Coherency Protocols
• Strong foundation in GPU/CPU architecture and interfaces is a plus
• Knowledge of considerations for performance, power and cost optimization is desirable
• Experience with advanced verification techniques such as formal verification and assertions a plus
• Scripting knowledge (PERL or PYTHON) is desirable
