Intel is seeking
highly qualified Senior Performance Modeling
Architect candidates to join the Graphics Performance
Architecture and Modeling Teams in multiple capacities. Be a part
of the Intel's GPU IP Architecture Team and be at the center of
defining future integrated and discrete GPU IP for use in Client
and Datacenter markets. You will play a key role in helping develop
innovative features for our next generation architecture to deliver
industry leading performance on key Graphics and Compute
Applications; and contribute to simulator infrastructure
development, feature modeling, and performance studies on
Architecture Simulators required for development of our next
generation graphics IP.
Some key
responsibilities may
include:
- Work with a team to define, implement, and validate high-level functional and performance models for Intel GPU IP.
- Work closely with IP and Software Architects to explore, and productize new hardware and software features for next generation GPUs.
- Develop and enable 3d and Compute workloads on architecture simulators.
- Develop and maintain CI and CD infrastructure for the simulators.
- Explore SW and HW solutions to achieve IP performance targets using architecture simulators.
- Engage with users and drive adoption of the Arch Perf simulator by meeting their usage models.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job.
You must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or in a related discipline with 3 plus years of experience. OR a Master's degree in the same fields with 1+ years of experience. OR a PhD in the same fields:
Your experience should be in the following:
- Strong coding skills preferably using C++, Go and Python
Preferred skills and experience that will make you stand out:
- Strong grasp of computer architecture concepts
- Understanding of GPU micro architecture
- Good knowledge of graphics and compute API's (DirectX, OpenGL, OpenCL, Vulkan, CUDA, etc.)
- Strong graphics and compute application performance analysis and modeling skills
- Experience with continuous integration and software configuration management tools

Annual Salary
Range for jobs which could be performed in US,
Colorado:
$97,500.00-$146,340.00

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
