Platforms Group (NPG). As a Senior Platform Applications Engineer
you will be focused on the unique requirements of the rapidly
growing area of 5G private networks.

In this role you will be
responsible for working with Intel's customers and partners
providing direct customer design-in support for private 5G and
multi-access networks. This will include driving and implementing
technology system requirements in both software and
hardware.
Responsibilities include but are not
limited to:
Partner product design-in and debug support for Intel FlexRAN based private network solutions
Supporting proof of concepts, lab trials, and initial field deployments that onboard applications
Creation of application specific collateral, white papers, and application notes
Provide technical training for customers and Intel field application engineers
Representing the customers technical needs with product management and engineering
Developing systems to scale a growing business with customer success metrics
Future opportunity to lead and manage the growing customer success team
The ideal
candidate should exhibit the following skills and
experiences:
Able to build and troubleshoot cloud native software architectures including the OS and CaaS/PaaS
Solution engineering experience pulling together hardware, software, and applications together to solve customer problems related to networking
Experience with mobile networks and 3GPP including LTE and 5G architectures
To

Comfortable working across geos in a global development team
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
BSEE/BSCS with 8+ years of experience related to software and/or applications engineering
5+ years of experience with customer technical engagements
Expertise in enterprise networking, mobile/cellular networks, or enterprise cloud applications
Understanding of Kubernetes and cloud native architectures
Preferred
Qualifications:
8+ years of networking and/or cloud software development
Understanding IoT use cases, technologies, and vertical market segments
Experience with industry leading best practices in software customer support including documentation, ticketing, customer success metrics

for this Role
This role will be
eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split
their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and
off-site.
