We are looking for a Windows Power and Performance software engineer to deliver the best user experience on client platforms. The above position requires experienced engineer with excellent understanding of Power and performance, computer architecture, Windows OS and applications. The candidate is required to develop and optimize the SOC and Platform Power and Performance based on customer and SoC needs through partnership with our SOC and platform teams, as well as through co-engineering with external partners. The role also provides excellent opportunities to influence Intel product offerings and their PnP experience under Windows OS. It also provides ample opportunities to technically conceptualize and drive complex development projects in the area of SoC PnP Dev/ optimization, Virtualization, Gaming, Hybrid scheduling, Thermal management, video conferencing, Media and AI optimization for power etc. The candidate should be able to closely collaborate with SoC design, architecture, external ISV and OSV partners, to identify and develop next generation PnP features on existing and upcoming platforms.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Masters or higher in Computer Engineering/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent STEM degree.
2. 1 or more IT focused internships.
