ADP is hiring a Senior Product Manager – Developer Experience. This position can be located in Alpharetta, GA, Roseland, NJ, Miami, FL or Norfolk, VA.

 

ADP employs several thousand developers in service of hundreds of products and components. The Kloud9 team has been tasked with developing enterprise-wide solutions for the consumption of Hybrid Cloud services that will better scale development, increase consistency, increase agility, and improve customer satisfaction. The Kloud9 team will work across ADP development teams treating them as our customer.

Kloud9 is successful when ADP development teams and R&D product teams are successful. The Kloud9 platform includes tools that provide self-service consumption of public and private cloud managed services with a layer of compliance, governance, and guard rails. One of the big deliverables of the team is a Kloud9 portal (Developer portal) that will serve as the first-pane-of-glass for ADP developers to aid in their day-to-day functions, find available capabilities, build new capabilities using the Kloud9 framework and platform, inner-source their own work, and provide access and documentation to the applications needed to most efficiently develop within ADP.

 

The Senior Product Manager role is a unique opportunity to be a key player in ADP's Global Technology transformation. As Senior Product Manager for the Developer Experience powered by Kloud9, you will own the end-to-end product strategy, planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle. You will serve as the product and service conscience of ADP products and services. In this role, you must be able to understand the business problems being solved and apply strong agile principles to the SDLC. You will need to bring experience and a strong service quality mindset. As part of the product and technology team you will work with development, quality assurance and UX designers to deliver high quality solutions.  A successful transformation will be impacting the agility and productivity of over 6,000 developers globally.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

As the Senior Product Manager for the Developer Experience powered by Kloud9 you will serve as the subject matter expert for your assigned Product Line(s). You will drive end-to-end product management with an ideation to sunsetting methodology. Develop the strategy and roadmap for the assigned product line(s), balancing enterprise needs and BU requirements. Interface between the Kloud9 team, front-line users and stakeholders to communicate strategy, gather feedback, and build alignment. Drive day-to-day product vision and service quality excellence of the Developer Experience powered by Kloud9 platform in collaboration with team members.

Here's what you can expect on a typical day:

 

Scrums.  You'll start each day working with teams to understand responsibilities, identify any

issues, and communicate priorities. You will write Jira US with clear and detailed business requirements and acceptance criteria. You'll continue to have meetings throughout the day as you create and organize your roadmap.

 

Research & Requirements. You'll own the design. You'll document and prioritize product

features. You're always learning and researching new industry trends to make our products better. You'll incorporate what makes sense into your product roadmap based on our customer, the market, ADP's goals, and what impact the future of tech will have on your products.

 

Relationships. You'll create strong alliances with diverse stakeholders and ensure everyone is in this together and communicates most appropriately. You'll collaborate across multiple teams with developers, quality assurance, other product managers, and UX teams, to name some, to continually drive innovation and make the product the best it can be.

 

Measurement. You have experience measuring product effectiveness, reporting outcomes, using data to drive service quality excellence and drive priorities.

 

Variety of work. There is no typical day. You could be working with UX teams on the Developer Experience powered by Kloud9 experience journeys to delivering new features, product enhancements, or creating new services. You will partner with support to drive product and service SLAs and ensure timely issue resolutions. Best part? You'll get to see those ideas come to life.

 

Presentations. You'll speak to stakeholders to communicate and defend

ideas while answering critical questions.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Product Management or Scrum Product Owner Certification is a plus
