We are looking for a highly motivated Software Application Development Engineer for an exciting opportunity to work for the High-Performance Compute Federation Engineering Team.

The High-Performance Compute Federation Engineering is a team of Software Engineers who build and manage enterprise quality and scalable cloud-native software tools and automation needed for effectively managing the large High-Performance Compute (HPC) infrastructure planning and execution.

Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:

• Understanding the business need and crafting a robust and scalable application architecture design, development, and integration.
• Lead software implementation, web/database integration using various programming languages and technologies.
• Application testing, solution documentation and product releases.
• Provide third level support after the application systems are released in productions.
• Develop clean code with high level of quality.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any other related field
• 7+ years of experience in development, product integration in one or more of the following: Web Applications, Client-Server Technologies, software architecture and writing solutions using Java technologies
• 6+ years of experience with design patterns along with working experience in Unix/Linux/Windows

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any other related field

Experience in:

• DBMS concepts from an application development perspective and experience working with relational databases
• Analysis, design, coding, and implementation of custom-built applications
• Framework such as: Spring framework implementing micros services, developing RESTful JSON APIs
• Modern web development toolkits and libraries such as Underscore, Angular, React, JQuery, etc.
• Working within a continuous build environment including working with a Source Control Management tool
• Agile development processes an advantage Exposure to Big Data and Analytics

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$132,940.00-$199,800.00
