Apple is looking for a senior software engineer for building robotics platforms. The candidate would be responsible for designing and implementing new runtime features as well as host side development tools for a robotics software platform.

Key Qualifications

• To succeed within this role, the candidate must have solid experience in several of the following areas:
• Real time, multithreaded systems
• Systems engineering and architectures in the context of distributed embedded systems
• Knowledge of multimedia stacks, computer vision, or controls systems a plus
• Excellent Communication skills (oral and written)

We are looking for experienced software engineers with a track record of shipping products that have debugged complex and layered software stacks. Our ideal candidate is curious, self-motivated, and thorough when they approach new challenges.

Education & Experience

BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent; 5+ years industry experience building and shipping embedded systems
