Intel is seeking a highly qualified candidate to join the Graphics Product and Performance Architecture Team as the Simulation Software Engineer. Be a part of the team and be at the center of defining future integrated and discrete graphics products for use in Client and Datacenter markets. You will play a central role in developing our simulator to support definition and execution for our next generation graphics IP.
In addition, you will help us with the following responsibilities:
Work with a team to define, implement, and validate high-level functional and performance models.
Enable 3d and Compute workloads on architecture simulators.
Engage with SW, HW, and validation teams to provide guidance on new features definition, implementation, and testing.
Engage with users and drive adoption of the new simulator by meeting their usage models and requirements.
This is an entry level position and compensation will be given accordingly.

schoolwork and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant previous
job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Candidate must possess the degree by employment start date.
Must have a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
OR
Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred skills and experience that will make you stand out:
Experience within Software development ( automation, regression software systems, etc.).
Proficient on C++ scripting, git source control and GitHub flow etc.
Graphics and computer API's (OpenCL, DX, Vulkan, etc.).
GPU micro architecture.
Agile or similar development processes and familiarity with estimating and tracking work.
The XPU Architecture and Roadmap team (XAR) within the Intel Architecture, Graphics and Software (IAGS) Group is responsible for architectural definition, performance projection and optimization of Graphics and Media IP's for all Intel integrated and discrete graphics products. The GPU Projections Team (GPT) within XAR is specifically responsible for development of Graphics, Compute, and Media Power and Performance (PnP) projections, analysis and attainment of key power and performance indicators.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
