Come join the Intel Ethernet Product Group (EPG) where we develop products that move the world's data. We're looking for a world-class leader to build and manage an Integration and Release team to enable our software acceleration strategy and deliver best-in-class software solutions for Foundational NICs, Infrastructure Process Units (IPUs), and Ethernet IP blocks for Data-Center SOCs.

In this role, your responsibilities include running a team of Integration and Release engineers that:

  • Manage the CI/CD pipeline, including the integration and deployment of merge-gating content sourced from the development and validation teams
  • Triages CI/CD pipeline execution failures
  • Develops and runs automated workflows to monitor software security and legal compliance
  • Maintains software repository manifests and release BOMs across programs
  • Monitors component integration requests and makes go/no-go decisions
  • Sets up release containers in preparation for final releases and executes the release flows
  • Works with the DevOps team to define requirements for the development and deployment of CI/CD methodologies and tools
  • Provides input to the DevOps team to identify infrastructure capacity and performance requirements
  • Defines metrics to measure the effectiveness of the CI/CD processes, sets targets, and drives process improvement initiatives to achieve those targets

You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or in a related field of study
  • 9+ years of overall work-related experience.
  • 9+ years of general software engineering experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in software integration and release management.
  • 5+ years of direct line management experience
  • 3+ years experience with Jenkins
  • 3+ years experience with GitHub
  • Experience with Linux OS and Windows OS
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Powershell, Bash, Python, Javascript, etc.
  • Experience with Program Management concepts (scheduling, budgeting, risk management, tracking etc.) and tools (Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence etc.), as well as experience driving software development practices across the entire lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or in a related field of study
  • 15+ years of overall work-related experience
  • Experience in change management, including driving process changes while guaranteeing operational continuity of legacy processes
  • Experience of at least one of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Nexus, LESS etc.)
  • Experience working in a heavily matrixed and geographically distributed organizational environment
  • Experience with code analysis tools such as Klocwork or Protex and binary scan tools like BDBA
  • Experience with the most common software license types (GPL, LGP, Apache, MIT etc.)
