Job Description

If you have a robust technical background in designs, development of complex analog and mixed signal designs in addition to program management skills and enjoy interfacing with customers this is a great opportunity to grow your career in Intel Foundry Services. Intel Foundry Services (IFS) is looking for candidates with IP skills and strong knowledge of Industry TFM to work with our customers and IP providers. You will drive IFS technologies and solutions into customer's engineer teams as well as be the customer advocate back into the TD Logic technology and Design Enablement team. The Sr Solution Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to Primary customer interfaces for IFS Design Kits - gaining a thorough understanding of the customer's and IP provider needs and manage Design Kit deliveries and support to customers Coordinate technical resources to track and close customer issues in designing their mix signal analog IPS. Promote customer's use of IFS Best Known Methods (BKM's). Knockdown all barriers to successful customer tapes on the State of the Art and leading-edge technologies. Collaborate with 3rd party IP providers for delivery of the best-in-class Mixed signal IPs to our customers.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must possess at least one of the 2 following degrees + the years of experience determined for each degree in the areas of expertise specified below:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 8 years of experience in Design/design automation and Providing technical direction to engineering teams.

Expertise in at least one of the following

  • SOC design methodology

  • IP development

  • ASIC Design

  • Custom IC Design

  • Foundry Design Enablement/Automation

  • Synopsys or Cadence ASIC and/or Custom design tools and flows.


2. Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 6 years of experience in Design/design automation and Providing technical direction to engineering teams.

Expertise in at least one of the following

  • SOC design methodology

  • IP development

  • ASIC Design

  • Custom IC Design

  • Foundry Design Enablement/Automation

  • Synopsys or Cadence ASIC and/or Custom design tools and flows.
