Job Description

Intel's Data Center and AI (DCAI) Strategy and Business Development Office (SBDO) has a highly visible, strategic, and high-impact role to identify and shape future paths of growth for our data center business.  This role offers the opportunity to creatively explore new market opportunities, partner with data center domain experts and interact with our leadership team as part of accelerating new growth opportunities for DCAI.  This position plays a vital role in helping DCAI navigate a fast-moving landscape while promoting actions that result in long term revenue growth.  In plain terms, this role is super creative, partners with exceptionally talented colleagues, benefits from rapid and continuous learning, and provides the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to DCAIs future direction.


In this role, you will be responsible for market and technology trend sensing and strategy development that develop actionable recommendations for the DCAI Business Unit. This role includes leading primary and secondary research across a diverse set of topics related to DCAI ecosystem to analyze and interpret potential future scenarios and their competitive implications and contribute into SBDO's strategic opportunity assessments. This position will join the Market Sensing and Strategy Team within SBDO. This position engages with business development stakeholders, domain experts, fellow DCAI market intelligence colleagues, and external research agencies. Light travel as needed, and occasional schedule flexibility to accommodate international time zones.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

BS degree in electrical engineering, computer science or related field with 10+ years of experience in the technology industry.
5+ years of experience in market and technology  sensing, analysis, ability to raise unique insights.
5+ years of experience in leading primary and secondary research, ability to leverage consultants and external research partners

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in strategy development within the data center ecosystem.

Cloud computing market knowledge and hyperscaler related experience a plus

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
