The senior strategic planner will be responsible for developing and driving product/technology software plans across the SW stack to unlock value for Intel.
Responsibilities
include but not limited to:
-
Develop comprehensive software plans for platforms, spanning BIOS,
operating systems, VMMs, other system SW, developer tools,
applications, and ecosystem enabling.
- Drive
software planning and pre-enabling plans from technology/IP
inception through to start of product
execution.
- Develop and drive
pathfinding/tech-readiness plans for software-visible technologies
working with technical leaders.
- Represent software in
planning meetings.
- Work with, and establish trust with a
diverse array of stakeholders across business units and
engineering groups.
This position
requires a solid combination of technical expertise and business
acumen, willingness to work effectively across functional and
organizational boundaries, and the willingness to communicate
effectively across technical, engineering, and management
audiences.
Qualifications
The
Senior Strategic Planner should be a driven, results-oriented
individual with a collaborative
mindset.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelors with
12+ years experience or
Masters degree with 8+ years
experience.
- 5+ years experience in strategic planning
- 3+ years experience creating or working with product/ technology roadmaps
- Highly technically savvy and able to understand a broad spectrum of software, hardware, operating systems, hardware technologies, architecture details, and be comfortable driving discussions with senior technologists
- Experience driving project scoping and sizing with engineering management/senior technologists
- Strong familiarity with datacenter/cloud platforms and/or network platforms
- Effective program management skills to collaborate with and lead very large groups of stakeholders across a diverse range of projects

- MBA a plus
- Masters or
bachelor's in computer science or a related technical field

Annual Salary
Range for jobs which could be performed in US,
Colorado:
$130,190.00-$221,610.00
