The Accelerated Computing Systems and Graphics group (AXG) is responsible for delivering industry leading GPU 3D, media, and compute graphics firmware and display hardware intellectual property IP blocks and system-on-a-chip (SoC) products for discrete graphics and throughput computing. As a Senior System Software Engineer - GPU Kernel, you will work with a team of highly talented software and hardware engineers and Architects to solve complex problems and come up with innovative solutions. You will be proud to be a part of the Core System Software Team, doing architecture, design, and implementation to see world-class discrete GPU in the market.
Qualifications
Minimum
Qualifications:
The candidate must have a BS degree with
5+ years experience or a MS degree with 3+ years
experience. Degree should be Computer Engineering, Computer
Science, Electrical Engineering or related. Experience and
proficiency should be related to software development.
Preferred
Qualifications:
- Experience of GPU Technology, Scheduling, GPU Power Management or Graphics Memory Management.
- Experience working in low level software, Firmware Development, Windows Device Driver Architecture, Development or Validation.
- Experience in understanding relevant hardware specifications, and applying that knowledge to Design/ develop/debug/validate driver software.
- Experience with understating Micro/Power Controller and developing firmware for it.
- Experience with CPU and GPU Power and performance optimization, tradeoff and characterization of various GPU and CPU workloads.
- Strong debug and problem-solving skills on HW/SW driver interactions.
- Experience working with Pre-silicon environment would be plus.
- Excellent communication skills working with multiple stakeholders including external customers/OEMs for product enabling.
- Experience in C / C++, OS Internals and Data structure.
- Knowledge and development experience in Python.
- Experience with debug tools and technologies, Windbg, E2E Validation, ETL debug, PnP analyzers.
