Come join PHNX as a Senior System Validation Engineer! Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Creates, defines and develops system validation environment and test suites.

• Uses and applies emulation and platform level tools and techniques to ensure performance to spec.

• Development of methodologies, execution of validation plans, and debug of failures.

• Requires broad understanding of multiple system areas and requires interfaces with Architecture, Design, and Pre Silicon Validation teams in improving post silicon test content and providing feedback for future ondie debug features.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science and 6+ years of experience -OR- a Master's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science and 4+ years experience in:

• IA/ARM core

• Validation and debug flows of a complex CPU silicon

• Willingness to drive validation knowledge exchange with design pre-silicon for development of validation plans

• Active tracking of various root cause correct analysis and providing systematic feedback on key issues impacting the project

Preferred Qualifications

• Intel IA - IA32 architecture with uArch debug knowledge of Intel's Core and Uncore or equivalent architecture

• Pre-silicon design/validation methodology

• C/C++/Python software programming for content development and scripting

• Project planning / data analytics
